Default Error (Code=26)?

I just logged back into Guild Wars, after it was working out just fine a couple of hours ago and got this:

Guild Wars was unable to find the server address because a DNS (Domain Name Server) request failed.

Please try again and if this problem persists, visit the Guild Wars support website. (Code=26)

I have no idea what it means. My thoughts were that one of the main servers could be down or something. However, I have heard no other complaints about it.

A checklist of things to go over:

Are you continuing to get this error or was it a one time kind of deal? I assume that since you posted you are able to use the Internet otherwise?

Well I can tell you just went away after I played TF2 for a bit. I was kind of hoping it would. Never experienced this problem before, since everything else (internet, Steam, and TF2) were working just fine. Just GW did not want to log me in.

Anyways thanks for the assistance; I appreciate it.

i get that from time to time. i just try to log again immediately and it works. i assume it has something to do with packets getting lost between me and the servers and just say /sigh 'best-effort-connection-internets' and try again.
