Default Freezing bugs

Frequent machine lockups are almost always caused by overheating issues. Either your video card is overheating, or your CPU/motherboard is overheating due to the video card. My guess is that your machine doesn't have enough ventilation. Try running the game with the case lid off and see if you can play for longer than 10 minutes. If so, you probably need to get a better case, better case fans, or more fans.

If your pc is under your desk right against the wall, it may help to back it out a little from the wall. That will help with air circulation as well.

If you have a dual-core cpu, try using ForceCore to make GW use only one core.

I must say I absolutely love that program. I'm using it for my C2Q 6600 and it's running fine now, still on 85 FPS constant. Although sometimes it does crash when I start GW right away when my PC has just booted, but it works just fine for the rest.
