Are you running up to date video drivers?

That could be an issue. Current versions are 169.21

If you look at the log you can see he is using 169.21.

The latest drivers are 169.25.

I have been running 169.21 for a while now and have not had any issues with that set of drivers so i doubt that is what the problem stems from.

I am afraid I have no idea what could be causing it though.

Ahh, NOW i see where you can find that.

All I know is that the update fixed crashing issues for me, which I had suspected might have been sound related, but also could have been other software related.

What programs do you run in the background when you run GW? Try killing any non-esential ones (keep your Anti-virus, Input drivers, and such, shut down media monitors (like winamp or quicktime), power/hardware monitors, etc).

so i have no idea what to do now, either forcecore isn;t working, or guild wars is corrupt, because it's not my memory since guild wars is the only game that does this.

Edit* as for video drivers 16.21 is the latest for my 7600gt, at least thats what it says on the website

I assumed you were using Vista, in that case 169.21 are indeed the latest drivers.

Let's get your system specs. RAM, OS, processor, and those sort of specs.

When you update Guild Wars, do you use the -image tag? If not, you may want to create a desktop shortcut with the following code:
Code:
C:\Program Files\Guild Wars\gw.exe -image
You can also check your Event Viewer (Start > Run > eventvwr.msc) and under Applications and System, see if there are any errors.

As for your hard drives RPM, it's either 5400 or 7200. HDTune would tell you for sure.

I noticed the OSVersion: 5.1 which tells me you're on Windows XP.

What sound card are you using? The crash log is listing eax *** stuff, I'm assuming a Creative one.

Try running the game with the -nosound flag added to your shortcut. If it works try updating/reinstalling the drivers.

Send in those crash logs to Anet support. Their programers can look at the logs and possibly see what's crashing and why.

Right click on your Guild Wars shortcut and select 'Properties'.
In the 'Target Area' field you will see the location of your Guild Wars executable file: "..\Guild Wars\Gw.exe"
Write the desired command line arguments after the quote marks:
"..\Guild Wars\Gw.exe" -fps

Try adding:

-dx8
Forces DirectX 8 compatability.

-nosound
Disables audio. Same as -mute.
