I've been experiencing insane lag for the last 2 months, my average ping is around 4-700, while it sometimes goes up to ~10000+, can move for 10 seconds and then the game goes on.
This happens on whatever server i play (euro/int/usa/asian).
I only have this problem in Guildwars, when im playing CoD4 or other games I usually have around 20 ping.
Starting to get annoying, since im a pvp player, and cant pvp with this ping.

Well. I see your from the Netherlands.. is your ISP Orange by any chance?
I know you don't have the lag with CoD4, but I'll tell you what Orange said to me anyway since my ping has gone up to :P

They are working on some problem they have when a lot of people use their line.. it keeps failing in the evening here to.

If this isn't the case.. you'd best contact Support. They can help you identify where the problem is located. At your home, your ISP or their servers.

I have just expirienced the same, was doing Jakanur Diggings HM while my game is like a slideshow.

It wasnt for today even, it was for the past month and it was terribad, my internet is working fine at the same time, and my game stops lagging at about 9-10 GMT only, but there is no GvG for me at that time, niether there is long gameplay in pvE.

I planned to finish my Guardian of Elona today but i just cant do it with such insane lag!!!!

A-net, do something with your servers, its getting more and more frustrating!

I was noticing it bad today. At work on my laptop and I have a decent system with a ded. video card. I walk out of marketplace into the Bazaar area and horrible lag!! 3 fps at this time? give me a break!

FPS =/= lag.

I've been having lags in GW since like a month... And only during evenings GTM +1, but since I'm a student... I usually can play only at evenings. Oh well, Assassin's Creed is still 5910259102% better than GW ;d

I've been having lag issues off and on, with pings anywhere from 265 to 2500. Lag with 250-500 ping is annoying. Heroes, Henchies, and enemies mysteriously teleport, and it makes interupting things on my Mesmer a pain.

I don't mind having 200-500 ping... But 2,5k every few seconds? Few more days and I'll start thinking that A.Net supports non-skill builds (Ursan), as anything that requires skill or timing is impossible to use -.- Funny thing, that Ragnarok Online, with MUCH worse internet code (lag is pretty common) is easier to play right now... Or Quake Wars on servers from another continent.

I'm getting the same deal. I've noticed over the past week my connection speed going from 200 ave. ( I'm in Australia) to anywhere from 500-17 000! Today my character took on a life of its own and started running in circles without me pressing any buttons. It lasted for about 3 minutes and my connection speed was around 17 000. Now I can't even create a new character without being disconnected.
