Guild Wars keeps on crashing with this error, someone please help.
Okay I bought Guild Wars the day it came out but stopped playing it within weeks.
I was extremely bored and thought hey why not let me re-install this game and try it out again. So I install it with no problems except for when i got to start it up. At first it goes to the log in screen, then about 10 seconds later its blacks out and I get this error message (as shown in picture). I've been trying to find the problem to this but I can't find it anywhere. Can anyone help me out please? |

its your background.. (haha j/k)
it looks like the issue could either be.. an overclocked processor, or insufficient cooling to your video card/internal components. Try cleaning out your PC with a can of air, and make sure that the fans have ample room (and cooling), fans do go bad and sometimes, more often than not, when replaced can solve issues like this |

Still no improvement. I still get the same message.
EDIT: I'm re-installing it now. EDIT#2: Okay just re-installed and I still have the problem. I also tried my best blowing out the dust from the system and I used a vacuum sucker as well. Still not working. Last edited by 2pacalypse; Mar 21, 2008 at 05:54 PM // 17:54.. |

this message is due to overclocking or poor cooling inside your case.
turn off any overclocks you have, and try leaving the side off of your case to get some air into the processor and graphics card. |
