I think this is in the right thread. If not, sorry this is my first one. So, I had to reinstall my gw onto my laptop lastnight, and everything seemed fine. However when I logged off and then tried to log-on again there was nothing there. There was no shortcut, no nothing. Even when i do a search on my comp it only finds the old screen shots and nothing else. Its like I never even installed the game. Any suggestions?

navigate to the drive you installed it to. it is normally C: >> Program files. then look for the Guild Wars folder. if it's not there, perhaps you installed it to another drive. you might also want to make sure you have enough HDD space for the install.

if there is a Guild wars folder, open it and look for 'GW'...right click it and select create shortcut. once that is done, simply drag the new shortcut onto the desktop (and rename if you like).
