Unhappy having withdrawls

Been having problems with loading my GW and will be going through withdrawls soon. It was working fine then just stopped working. Wouldnt connect to areanet. Desktop would no prob, but laptop wouldn't. I have already uninstalled and re-installed the prog once and dont really want to do it again if can be helped. I checked all the drivers and nothing is there. Like i never installed anything. Checked my HDD space and have 138GB free. These were suggested earlier and was hoping that was the prob. But still no luck. Any other suggestions before i just start over once again.

Did you try copying your GW folder from the desktop to the laptop and then tried running the game?

Check your firewall or wireless router settings.

ya i have a suggestion, why don't you stay in the same thread. This is a duplicate of this thread http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10271259

instead of being selfish and creating other threads bump yours and stuff. Maybe nobody has the answer your looking for.

No need for network, burn the folder to a DVD (I do that regularly to make sure I can have fresh installs quickly).

I don't think he is being rude, he is actually right. You are not allowed to post the exact same thread in 2 different areas. Instead of warning you he could have reported you and had the thread closed, so actually, he was nice.

As Turan said it's most likely a firewall/router problem. Make sure you have the correct port open.
