Default Vent problems from a computer (Noob)

Hi, i admit to not being the most computer savy around, i just installed vent from the vent site, that i was given forma new alliance, when i logged on, i saw the names of my fellow guildies, and when i turn on the volume i can here them speaking , but for some reason mt mic won't to them, but when i speak thru the mic, i can here my voice comeout the pc speakers, cna some one tell me whatrs wrong and post step by step what i need to do to correct this, i would appreciate your imput.

You probably have not set up a bind to allow you to talk on the server. You need to set up vent to use Push to Talk. To do this start vent, go to setup, under voice select "Push to Talk Hotkey", you will see a white box below which should indicate what key is set up to allow you to talk, just click inside that box and then use whatever key you want to be the hot key. If you have done this correctly you will see the key name displayed in the box.

Click ok, log onto the server and when you wish to talk, just hold the key. I myself use the fourth button on my mouse.

Hope this solves your problem.
