well, you should get a nice mouse first imo.. but yeah.

If i was going to spend that much on a keyboard I'd just go with a logitech G15, but I think newegg has that eclipse for half the price that they do on that website.

The regular Eclipse was 30$ on newegg with free shipping once, now it's 50$ (last time I checked) and costs shipping, and the keyboard is totally a rip off because well.. just read the reviews.

Was going to buy that, but people say the keys wear off and the lighting is patchy, E.G some areas are darker and some are lighter, bleh.

QFT I don't know about the eclipse I have the eclipse2. Lighting isn't perfect but it is way close enough and letters on the keys don't/can't wear off on the eclipse2. It also works with vista.

Yeah, well the patchy lighting wouldn't bother me too much as long as it wasn't too major, but the keys wearing off is a no-go for me if I'm spending that type of money on a keyboard.

So, an unfortunate loss for me, cause I like the first Eclipse more than the second one.

Right now I just use a Microsoft Comfort Curve 2000 keyboard, it's really nice and cheap, can bust through them and you're only in 20$ or less for a new one, it's nothing special but has all the essential buttons and some media ones to boot.

Honestly though if they are charging that much for the first one, it should have the quality that the second one presumably has.

The price was right before, 30$ and no shipping fee, can't beat that. Just a shame that newegg took that deal out.

Well, Ive decided to go with the

Razer Copperhead mouse and the G11 Keyboard.

Thats the only mouse which actually felt comfortable in my hand. The most expensive one (Logitiec G9) was just terrible. I cant imagine ever finding that thing comfortable for playing any game.

I don't like the G9 either, looks kind of funny too.

Hope you like your new stuff!
