Hi, I haven't played GW in about a year and a half or so. I am probably going to start up again in the summer. However, one BIG deterrent is having to wait 10-20 minutes for me to download the area updates every time I switch zones. Is there a way to update your game without having to visit each area?

most of my characters were left in RA, so before I even log in, it's a bit of a wait...

Find the icon to start guild wars and make a copy of it.

Find the copy, rigith click -> properties and it should come up with some info, one of which should say "target"

On the end of that, put a space then -image then open it

It'll download every file for you, but will take a while, so best to leave it on overnight/at work or school.
