Anyhow, I am having this glitch and IT IS SO ANNOYINNNNG! I am in the middle of fighting something, and all my computer does at some random time is crash the game for a a second or too, and then the screen sorda turns off, and the power light on the monitor is still on. AND WHEN I TURN THE SCREEN BACK ON, IT SHOCKS LIKE 10 VOLTS OF ELECTRICITY THROUGH THE HEADPHONES AT ME AND I FEEL LIKE I HAVE BEEN SITTING IN AN ELECTRIC CHAIR! Then I have to restart the computer. WHY??? Help please!

Get it checked out by a qualified electrician. Anything that gives out electric shocks is potentially lethal.

I'd stop attacking air ele.

Unplug all of it and have it checked out while it still fonctionning. Otherwise you run a pretty good chance to blow up something expensive.

get a new monitor,i had 2 lcds than kinda did what u describe above ,except the electric shock, also u might want to plug your headphones in a sound card (go get a pci -soundcard )insted of your monitor.Mi monitor kinda did the same it just went black while still having power,i just got a new one. Also u could also try changing your power supply ,but for best results get your pc to have it checked out

Ok, ok, the shocking thing is not the problem, it only does that when my headset is in, and it is in my ear, so anyway, the main problem is the moniter turning off in the middle of a fight and I press the power button on it and it just comes back with a "PLEASE CHECK SIGNAL CABLE" and I can still hear the sound, and the only time it says "PLEASE CHECK SIGNAL CABLE" is when the computer is off and the moniter is on. THEN I HAVE TO RESTART MY CPU!!!! It didn't do this before. and things like "get your computer fixed/checked up" is not helping me. I DON'T WANNA PAY $100 FOR A ****ING CHECK UP!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. My headphones are in my speakers. and the electric shock happens 1/30 times in my opinion.

The thing about PC's, imho, is that the same fault can be caused by many different things. So if your Monitor is cutting out it might be your Monitor is trashed, but it could ALSO be that your GFX card is dying, though the former sounds more likely in your case. If I'm fixing a PC then I have each part as a spare to test them, (unless it is something obvious); and if you too are in that position then you can save yourself the $100. If not, well it is very unlikely anyone here is going to tell you the 'magic' quick-fix as there is no such thing. It does suck, I know, but ce la vie.

The only way to fix it is by getting a professional help you out with a problem like that. Just go to the company where u bought the computer and consult with the so called "professional" there. You won't have to pay for his opinion.

My opinion however is to change the monitor.. borrow your friends monitor for a day and check if everything works fine. Thats how u solve most of the problems with technical difficulties.

Check your monitor cable too - that's the cheapest thing that might have gone wrong.

Ahh...I made the refreshing rate 60 mhz, and I turned the graphics down to a semi-crappy level. It works fine now.

See... you living tends to be more important then your monitor going black.... monitor going black < everything going black, permanently?

Ummm... if you are being shocked, that is a sign that your PSU is sending electricity into your case material and then through your headphone cable.... That means it isn't grounded... and considering PSU's have enough in their capacitors to kill you 1000x over, I would be wary of using your PC... hire an electrician... direct currents are even more dangerous than AC....
