problem :(
Hi, I got a problem with my guild wars. I can get to the loggin screen but when I try to log in it will say connecting... and after 20 seconds it gives 058 error. If I delete all my .dat from my guild wars folder and then try to loggin it won't give any problem but if I log out and try to loggin again I get the same problem again.
I do have nod32 if that is the problem please explain me what to do about it :P someone have a solutions??? |

Copyed it and tryed to loggin without it and later on I put it back and I can't loggin anymore

Try reinstalling GW, use the -image command and go outside for a few hours.

Deleting your .dat doesn't affect your login at all. It just means you have to download it again. Also it will not remember your login so if your running gw with -password xxxxxxx option then you need to manually login. Deleting your .dat every now and then isn't a bad idea since you get rid of parts of the .dat that is no longer in use.

old problem. search is your friend, its actually in the sticky at the top. error 58 AFTER 24 hours. You need to uninstall/reinstall from add/remove, perhaps a repair option will work. do not use the factions disk to install looks like it had issues. also does not look like it has anything to do with the .dat file.

Ignore all above advice. This is most likely a firewall issue or a router issue. I'm not familular with nod32 per se, but try if you can turn it off completely and see if you can run GW. Most likely you'll have to open ports.
