I probably will never afford one soon unfortunately, but who knows.
They eat Crysis for lunch. I punched up a particle test that is equal to Crysis at 2560x1600 and was getting 56.3 FPS with 4xAA. Mind you Crysis might be less, but still... that is just insanity.

i really hope so for Nvidia, because the HD4000 series seem to be very good as well.

I use 9800 GTX in SLI and they already had Crysis for lunch. (they're all vanilla cards, manually overclocked)
With no AA at 2560x1600, I hit stable 100+ FPS on stealth portions of the game and ~40-50 on heavy gunfights/explosions.

And this thread is old.

Oh, most certainly. One of my buds out in the lab should be getting engineering samples from AMD in the next few days. He will let me know if they are a threat this time around (from what I can tell, they very well may be)

Hehe - thank god for ATi. Without them, nVidia wouldn't be pushed to create such awesome cards!

Competitive markets ftw

Just imagine if the 280 had GDDR5.. I don't think that ATI card would have much on it then.

I wonder..

Then again, It is moronic to assume such just yet, we will have to find out.
