Default Weird graphical UI

Whenever I log on GW, it looks like this (not sure how well you can see the picture, but the GUI is moved about a half inch to the left)

http://i38.tinypic.com/10nxswo.jpg

Which isn't such a huge problem except for things like this (enchantments, Blessings, effects, etc.)

http://i37.tinypic.com/vfwcp3.jpg

See how the left half of the effect is cut off? When I am normally playing nowadays, I just move that bar on the interface a half inch to the left and it takes care of the problem, but it is still very annoying.

I didn't change any settings on my computer or in Guild Wars, I just logged in once last week and it was like this. I finally decided to ask about it, because I would rather not reinstall the game if it can be avoided.

EDIT: I'm running a stock Gateway with a 3.2ghz single cell pentium 4, stock mobo, geforce 7600, 1gb ram, stock 80GB hard drive (The exact model number escapes me, it's about 5 years old.)

Now this has been solved, huuuuge pics relegated to links Snograt

Well, change your monitor settings; make it slightly smaller horizontally and move it to the right

I thought about doing that, but wouldn't that affect my whole computer? Guild Wars is the only program I have with this problem. Is there any way I can change that just for Guild Wars then? If so, how?

Also, I just updated my video card drivers 20 mins ago, still same problem.

changing the settings on the monitor would only affect that resolution (some anyways), so you sure GW isn't running at its own resolution?

if it is, just simply change the monitor settings and it won't affect your other things

Thanks for the info. Makes me feel really dumb because of how easy it was.

Problem solved, close thread please
