As you can see, it says ''Out of memory'', but that's not possible because I upgraded my PC several months ago with extra RAM memory. Instead if 256 I have 1024 now. Or is the problem perhaps with my graphics card?

Anyone who has a solution for this problem?

EDIT: NOPE for comp name/ IP address. we dont need that info.

Ok an "out of memory" error can be from a few things. 1 Hard drive is to full. 2 Bad ram/not enough/. 3 video card memory out/to small/dieing. 4 not enough virtual memory (see#1)

What settings do you run the game at?
What OS are you running?

adding this in: Recommended System Specs:

* Windows XP/2000/Vista
* Intel Pentium 4 2.0 GHz or equivalent
* 1 GB RAM
* DVD-ROM Drive
* 4 GB Available HDD Space
* ATI Radeon 9600 or NVIDIA GeForce FX 5700 series video card or above
* 16-bit Sound Card
* Internet connection
* Keyboard and mouse
* DirectX 9

This is recommended and will probably NOT run the game at max settings.

If I read your post correctly you upgraded from 256MB of RAM to 1GB which is the minimum recommended for GW...ie not enough. These days 1GB will barely run Windows.

that's... mostly incorrect.

you mentioned that you've upgraded your ram. did you make sure all the ram match (as in, same model, same type, same speed, same timings)? if not, these kind of stuff can happen.

I hate to say but I think your problem is an old computer with a lack of memory and not enough memory in your video card. I think it might be time to look for a new computer.

For the unenlightened, out of memory errors are usually not connected to actual physical memory. Far more likely to be a driver error or something esoteric.
