Again "their side" / "my side" attitude... doh.

Thank you for stating the obvious.

The issues causing the network problems are no longer affecting players at this time. The high latency and congestion over the network which players experienced over the weekend took place over approximately two hours, after which the problems cleared up. Technicians are continuing to monitor the network to see whether they crop up again, but at this time they are not reporting any issues. If you are still experiencing problems, please contact Customer Support.

As loyal customers, we will not question you either. If possible, for future endeavors, I hope that you can implement some sort of communication factor that allows you to communicate with the players much faster.

It was seriously a "turn-off" and "stressful" experience for everyone.

Just got some horrible lag on a usually 60ms or so ping that was exactly like the previous incident. July 30th 1:39 Pacific time. (in the 20k ping area, lasted for about 10 mins)

And we STILL don't know what caused those lags and errors and disconnects.

It was something server-side as has been mentioned in other posts. Check the thread about it in the Dev forum. That may help.

Imo, it doesn't really matter what the problem was specifically. And the network techs are liable to let to some CR know exactly what happened.

You know what does matter though? The fact that Anet shows they have no idea of what happened. You can't play it off like there were only two hours of service disruption. The server lag was happening on Friday and lasted all the way through the swiss matches in the mAT on Saturday.

Anet admit it. I don't care whose fault it was, but just come out and say that it wasn't a two hour disruption. Be honest with us. We know you don't care much for PvP and have never given us great support, but at least own up to what happened. The only tournament pvp'ers get a month to prove they actually matter was destryoed.

Anet is also at the mercy of the ISP, who may not have briefed them fully on the situation. Anet is not necessarily the highest authority in this situation.

Just something to keep in mind.

I've read everything she has said about the lag. Nothing has been regarding the mAT, the only thing that matters to me in Guild Wars.

I'd say the mAT is not something they'll even address, since it pissed so many people off and there's nothing they'll do about it anyway.

Is anyone else lagging out when you try to zone and the game freezes and logs you out after a few minutes?

Its been happening quite often to me lately, checked my end and everything seems to be working just fine, net speed etc....
