Default Video Problems

When I go on FullScreen GuildWars, my mouse flickers and it really annoys
me. The only way I've remedied this is to play in a window, but I don't want to. How can I play FullScreen without my mouse flickering?
Please help! D:

I used to have this problem a long time ago, when I was using the old 7950 in sli on the dual widescreen monitors. My temporarily solution was to change the game resolution to lower or higher then change it back. Then after I updated the driver the flickering seem to disappeared.

So that would be my first suggestion.

I had this problem on my old Fx5500 or whatever, Icons would also blink when I hovered over them. I think updating drivers was what fixed it.

What video card do you have?

I get this and other graphics glitches from time to time, mainly to do with LODing and when the engine switches between 2D/sprite alpha'd versions of models and the 3D versions. Alphas on low level LOD seem to render as black or complete messes.

Flicking between windowed and full screen seems to solve this however, as does minimising and returning to the game.

I figure its a driver glitch. (Running on a GF 7800GT @ 1920*1280)

I have an Nvidia GeForce 6100 and when I search the internet it says I have the latest drivers, but I don't.
And when I try and use the July 9th one I got off the Nvidia site, it doesn't find it when I search in a specific location.

Get the ones off the nVidia site and open the file. nVidia sends you a executable file that installs them for you. You don't use Device Manager to update you drivers from nVidia. Download the file from nVidia, go to wherever you saved it, and double-click on it. That should be it.
