Use DownThemAll, a Firefox add-on. It works like a charm.

I used Go!Zilla, it works best with FTP sites. It also can "remember" your download, if it drops part way through. If it is a http site download them all.

Firefox again FTW.

You SHOULD use Firefox, any other option isn't worth it.

I don't understand though...DownThemAll can't increase your download speed by their claimed '400%'. Your connection is limited, and really, if you aren't downloading at max speed, it's because the server you're downloading from is slow.

Outrageous claims.

Agreed, use Firefox or Opera. Especially if you get infected with malware.

DAP is known adware.

I've downloaded ISOs from Microsoft that are 4GB+ and DTA! handles them just fine.

From the way i understand it, download accelerators such as DTA make the uploading server think you are more then one user downloading. Assuming you have a 1meg DL, and they have a 250k UL, then you can only DL at 250k. DTA makes the uploader think you are 4 separate users, and therefore you are essentially downloading at 4x250.
In practice, it is rarely above a normal speed, but I have seen a 3x increase from some sites.

Its pause/resume works really well too
