Default Random GW crashes

Been having some random GW client crashes the past couple of weeks. The screen freezes and sound goes into a loop. (its not a lagspike, pings fine)

Have had it about 6 times or so (with varying activity on screen: 5x during GvG/HA match and 1x in empty guild hall). Its not that much of a shocking issue since I can get back in within a minute, with a reconnect after task manager > end task GW > dis/reconnect wireless; but its still a bit annoying.

During those 6 times, the status in task manager read:
4x status 'not responding'
1x status 'activated' (as in normal)
1x not in the active task list, only in the list of active processes

There are many things that can cause this issue.

Unstable sound drivers, defective RAM, driver issues, etc.

Is this happening in other games or just GW?

I've only had these crashes in GW.

Haven't run any other intensive games on it though, toughest being like old racing games (NFS 1-6) or Warcraft 3/DotA.

Edit: now i think of it, most extensive use was having AVG, Ad-Aware and spybot scanning while running photoshop, GW and some copies of IE7 minimized. Which put CPU 1 & 3 on ~80% (1 GW+random active stuff & 3 Spybot) and 2 & 4 at about 25%. Worked like a charm.

If you have a laptop with a m8600GT, your graphics card is most likely defective. The company should replace your motherboard as we are funding active replacement and repair for the issue.
