Default Skippy mouse problem

My mouse skips around a lot. It seems like its only visible when I'm moving it, and even then it is choppy. Any suggestions?

does it happen all the time?
or jus in gw?

wireless mouse?
is the battery low?
or is it far from the reciever?

try reinstalling ur drivers for ur mouse
and perhaps ur video card too

i used to have a similar prob wit an fps game
it was a result of directx
but i doubt it could be that

but try changing the graphic settings to very low
and if it still doesnt help
try the -dx8 command line

Is it an old fashioned mouse - do your balls need a clean?

Have you accidentally enabled mouse-trails?

- Clean the dust from the lens / ball
- Get a mouse mat if you haven't got one and have slight bumps in your desk
- Throw your refresh rate at its max

Any of that helping?

Unless you are using some special feature of you mouse, uninstall any driver that came with it (if you installed one).
You may also need to re-install/update your video drivers.
