Default Texmod Problems

I'm having issues with my Texmod. It won't load any mods, and I've tried everything I could think of to fix my problem. I've redownloaded Texmod, and the cartographer .tpf's numerous times. I've tried using numerous mods, but none of them worked! I've reinstalled Guild Wars (via the downloadable client on the official website). I've even switched gw.exe's with a friend who's texmod works.

I've googled this issue, and I read about Direct 9 issues. This also didn't apply to me. I have Directx9 and my video card supports it. I've even tried reinstalling my video card drivers.

Nothing seems to be working!

If it helps, I'm using an ATI Radeon 9550.

What's even more puzzling is that I remember Texmod used to work, but then suddenly, sometime last year, it randomly stopped working. HOW FRUSTRATING!! ARGH!

Also does it matter if I'm playing Windowed mode? Should I post my in-game graphics settings?

are you using vista? if so, turn off user access control.

that's about the only thing that comes to mind right now.

No, I'm using Windows XP. Thanks for the input, though. :P

are you sure you're on the right setting in TexMod (package mode)?

1. Will Guild Wars still start if you press "Run"?

2. What antivirus do you use? Since Textmod reads your computer's memory antivirus software might prevent it from working.

3. Have you tried creating a mod of your own and load it?

1. No, I just get the generic D'OH message.

2. I'm using AVG Anti-Virus, but it's not on.

3. Nope, I don't know how to make my own mod but I've tried 3 cartographer mods and one random Xunlai Agent re-skinner mod, all off of Guild Wiki.
