Default Problem with LiteStep Theme

I know this is a bit more of a niche question, but I'm just putting up a post an a handful of forums I frequent that have tech support forums within them.

For those of you who do not know, LiteStep is a shell program for Windows, you can learn more about it here www.litestep.net

I am new to LS and started messing around with it. I found a theme which I really like because unlike most other themes for LS out there, this one radically changes the functionality of the desktop environment.

The theme, Xandos, can be found here, www.ls-themes.org/themes/view/161 , and at the author's site (at the bottom of the page) http://www.xan-creations.com/ . A video showing the (IMO, sweet) functionality of the theme can be found here, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1o64WIcwLO0

Ok, now that you know about the theme, here is my problem. I'm not 100% sure what the problem is actually, but I did get some screens of the problem, which occurs when switching to this theme. I can run LS fine, and one other theme (EVE Online theme) work fine on my comp.

Here are the 3 screens with the errors I receive upon switching to the Xandos theme.

My comp is running Vista Ultimate 32bit. AMD 9950 Black Edition, 4GB RAM, ATI 4870 card.

If anybody could help me out here, that would be GREATLY appreciated as I really would like to run this theme.

If any more info about my computer is necessary to narrow down the problem, please post and I will add any additional info as needed.
Images must be less the 640x480. Thanks.

LiteStep generally doesn't work with Vista. That said, your other themes work, so it must be something specifically about this theme. Not having used LiteStep much, I can't really say, except that there is no real Vista support :\

The shell modifications that theme appears to attempt to produce are pretty drastic. Are you sure that theme is functional with Vista?

If it is, have you tried to disable Aero, as it may be interfering with the startup of the new theme?

My last thought is related to those errors. Vista supports a lot, but some bang commands it really doesn't get along with. It looks like it isn't accepting several of those bang commands that are being issued.
