Default Can't Boot Into BIOS

I hit Delete at startup and then a blank, black screen appears. Tried it multiple times, same result. I tried it once and left my computer on for two hours at the blank screen and it was still blank. Huh?

Should I flash to a later version of BIOS or something? I wouldn't like to since everything is working great on this system, except for booting into BIOS of course.

does the board have a readout on it somewhere? some have a number that posts as it boots and you can look up the number to see what the error might be.

Does the computer boot, just not into the bios?

If you can, try flashing it to the most recent. shouldnt hurt any and bios updates usually are pretty useful.

Unfortunately, the motherboard doesn't

Yeah, it boots normally without any problems. I don't know why it refuses to boot into BIOS.
