Default Reinstalling Windows - Guild Wars too

I'm just wanting to get confirmed of this:

If I have to reinstall Windows and thus lose all programs that I own, does the product key code apply for reinstalling GW?

I know this is a stupid question but I'm not sure about it.

nope no need for the product key. Just install GW off the disk (and wait a while for the updates to download) and enter your account name and password as normal.

I recommend backing up Gw.dat and copying it over when you finish your reinstallation, it'll save time on patching.

Exactly. It automatically downloads and saves the patches into one big "GW.dat" file. There are no stand-alone patches to download.
