Default please help

hi all, (long time reader- first time poster)

my question.

two days ago i had a nasty laptop crash.... took the lappy into the shop and they cleared it/factory restore... all good. BUT

when i try to run the GW client, it asks me to download 3GB again, but i looked in my program files/guild wars folder and the DAT file and stuff is still there with the 3GB....

how do i get it to recognise this?

also the GW stuff is not present when i look into add/remove programs (it was before the restore) but is still in the programfiles/guildwars folder.

please help, my brothers and i play heaps and i wish to join them again..
they be getting further infront every hour!!!!

You could try running GW with the "-repair" command line or you could just use "-image" and run it overnight. I suspect though, that if you just let it run, it will only download what's necessary.
