Question Texmod Problems

Ok, so I used texmod to get my factions cartographer. Now I want to finish the other 2, but I've been running into some problems. About a month ago, some Dell guy screwed up our hard drive and got everything deleted. So now I wanted to redownload texmod. Now that it's downloaded, however, the computer always locks up when I click on it. I don't even have to try to run it, just click. It's extremely hard for me to delete, too. I was able to do it though. I tried redownloading several times using different websites but the same thing happened each time. Whenever I try to scan it with McAfee, it pauses at Texmod. This computer is running Windows Vista. It runs perfectly fine except for this. I even tried it on my Windows XP computer and the same thing happened. Please help.

what site did you download textmod from? there are good and bad versions of it on the web.... of course McAfee might just be blocking it, in which case you need to set it as an exception ---- or ditch McAfee (my advise)

It had nothing to do with my anti-virus program. I've had problems with that in the past and found a way around it. The computer locks up every time I click on the program. The problems are totally different. And I downloaded it from the two websites on the official wiki, rapidshare and something else, megaupload I think.
