Default How to remove Nero?

Hi guys, I downloaded Nero and got the trial. Well when the trial ended, I uninstalled the product. I uninstalled and deleted any left over information with Revo Uninstaller. I use this software for any software and games that I do not want traces on the computer. However, Nero will not remove. It is not listed as software anymore, the file in Program Files is not there anymore... however DDS and PNG pictures show something like this "Nero.Files9.939843849.PNG"... Basically some of my files including DAT files show up this Nero crap.

My question is how I remove Nero forever? This is getting very annoying.

That is file association. All you need to do is right click the files in question, go down to PROPERTIES, and then select the default program you wish to open the program with (Example: Photoshop CS4)

You can also select OPEN WITH from the right click menu.

What do you mean by "show"?
Is that the filename (Nero.Files9.939843849.PNG)? If it is, just rename the file, or give us a better idea of what you mean by "show" (or change the file association as Rahja says.)
