Exclamation Insane Freeze/Lag issues.

Hey Guys.

After a long time of inactivity within the Guild Wars community, I decided to come back. My computer was starting to get a little over cluttered and I decided it was time for a reformatt, so I went ahead with this process and everything went real smoothly as it usually does.

I reinstalled Guild Wars and was really excited to get back online and play. Initially my game was running really sweetly, no lag/delay issues whatsoever and I was able to partake in a few FoWSC's

The issue now has become so incredibly bad, I had to post it here to see if there was any hope of me playing again. Below are some pictures of the problems and some pictures for my computers statistics. Nothing spectacular but riding a little above minimum requirements I believe.

____
Constantly Getting Errors, especially 007.

____
It explains itself? This is what happens after around 30 seconds of play.

____
If none of the above happen, I freeze on this screen. Nothing happens.

____
Basic Spec

____
Internet Connection (Wireless)

____
HDD

The Graphics Card I have Installed.

Any response is much appreciated, Thank you in Advance

i have the same problem although its settled down a bit lately.

dont bother contacting support as its a waste of time.

basically they said that when 4 of my friends all get lag spikes at the same time, its down to our computers our end.

when realistically, its server end or a network issue somewhere on the way to guildwars servers.

nothing you can do im affraid

it is indeed most likely a server/network issue between you and Anet - probably not anything you can do about it. An ISP Data Tracer Route would help to diagnose this for you, but that's not something I can adequately explain how to do I'm afraid.

Hey thats pretty much what i got told, my pings would go from 100 then suddenly id stop moving, then my ping would show at 98,000.

I was getting 40-70k pings daily, i contacted support and there reply was, your graphics card drivers are out of date.

I still get the massive spikes, and they still refuse to admit its there game servers, my alliance of over 800 members, all have the same reported spikes, and we are from USA-UK/Europe-Australia, i could understand if we where all local to each other, but sadly we have over 12000-16000 miles between us all.

I hope Anet get there act together soon, as i sure as hell hope this isnt a sign of things to come for GW2.

as a wholly owned subsidiary of ncsoft, anet uses ncsoft's support system. if you want to complain about the quality (or lack thereof) of the support provided, complain to ncsoft, not anet. it's entirely out of their hands.

on a related note, the last time i played GW, i got dropped out of three RA matches in a row, which also gave me dishonourable because it was counted as "leaving".

Is there anyone who can explain this process to me, I understand what your reason would be, just not the method.

Thanks to the other respondents as well, this has opened my eyes to a more obvious reason for my game failing. If it is unresolvable, I shall be thoroughly - thoroughly disappointed.
