Or any details at all... what were you doing at the time, what other programs were running, when did this start happening?

While there are a lot of us that would like to help, there is not enough information for anyone in thier right mind to even try.

So, to answer our question, based on the information you provided; A serious error occured when Guild Wars attempted to launch. Does that help?

My guess would be that a serious error occurred. This is usually the result of corrupted drivers or driver conflicts, but could be nearly anything. Given the lack of information, I'd suggest backing up anything you want to keep and then staring over with a fresh install of Windows (XP is my guess, from the look of it.)

Or, it could be the result of overheating. Open the machine up and check that all fans are running (when powered up) and clean the dust bunnies out of everything.

ok, this is what i can remember (since it happened sometime ago) i was playing the battle for lions arch with 5 other people ( i was having serious lags) , while i was doing this i was running internet explorer and listening to my itunes
since it didn't happen again i think it was overuse of CPU or something, so my question is just out of interest
thnx for trying to solve this case
