Default Wanting to know if I can run Nightfall

I checked the "can u run it" site and the only thing it says I fail in is the video card. I pass the minimum for Prophecies which I already have on my computer but not for Nightfall or any of the others. I still do fail the recommended for Prophecies yet from playing Guild Wars I've had no problems so far, no framerate issues.

I have a Intel(R) G45/G43 Express Chipset

I pass for everything on the video card except for the brand it seems, it says I need "ATI Radeon 9600 or GeForce FX 5700 Series Video Card or above" thats recommended status for Nightfall, minimum its "ATI Radeon 8500 or GeForce3 Series".

I have everything else required even on recommended for the video card out of the things listed:
Required/I have
Video RAM 64 MB/1.7 GB
3D Yes/Yes
Hardware T&L Yes/Yes
Pixel Shader version 1.1/4.0
Vertex Shader version 1.1/4.0

Do I really have to go out and buy a one of the video cards recommended to play Nightfall or can I just stick with what I got?

Also same question above if anyone would know for the future Guild Wars 2.

I don't think Nightfall is any different from the rest of guild wars. Never noticed any performance changes.

I'm assuming your graphics card is an integrated one (IntelĀ® Graphics Media Accelerator X4500HD (IntelĀ® GMA X4500HD)?). I don't think Guild Wars supports integrated graphics cards but you can probably still run it on one. If you can play Prophecies you should be able to play Nightfall.

Tech specs on Guild Wars 2 haven't been released yet but it has been stated that they want to keep the requirements low so most mainstream owners can play it.

Guild Wars is able to run on surprisingly low specs. A while back, my regular graphics card was about to be fried and had to be taken out for repairs. We put in a GeForce2 card instead.

When I started up GW I got a warning that 'your graphics card is not supported', but it WORKED! Granted, it wasn't pretty, and it was slower than usual, but it worked!

All I can say is, try. It might work, it might not, but you won't know until you try.

Intel IG are not able to run some of the graphics routines used by GW. You may experience problems loading into, and/or getting stuck in, certain areas. There was a sticky on here about it, so a search should turn up some info.
Basically, if it's a desktop (not a laptop) and it has a PCIe graphics card slot, your best thing would be to buy a video card. Almost any newer model card, such as an AMD HD5450, would do.
