Default Upgrading to Windows 7

Hi.

First off I'm sorry if this is a silly question but I didn't know how else to find out this info.

Currently I am running Vista and would like to upgrade to Windows 7. So, my question is, will I have to reinstall GW after the upgrade? Also if I do have to reinstall, could I copy my GW file before upgrading and install it again so I don't have to download all the maps again?

Hope that makes sense and any input is appreciated.

Thanks in advance

No sure if you can do a direct upgrade from vista to 7. If yes, then you won't need reinstalling. However, i'd go for a clean install and transfer the .dat file, i did it when i changed computer, so you can do the same.

Yes, you can upgrade Vista to Win 7. If you do, GW should work fine afterwards. But even if it didn't, you only need to run gw.exe after the Win 7 install (provided you didn't format the drive, or delete GW) to get GW working again.
