So..When i try to open Guild Wars, the loading screen appears but it remains to 0% and after a little while it says it can't connect to Anet servers. I also can't connect to any official Guild Wars sites. It is not a firewall/antivirus issue.
I was reading around the forum and saw other people got the same problem in the past, so I tried everything that was mentioned there.
I tried using the google dns, and while that gets me past the loading screen issue, when I enter my e-mail and password, it gets stuck there, and won't connect.
I tried renaming the gw.dat file. I opened the game, it downloaded it, but then again, stuck at log in.
Note: while using the google dns, it still won't connect to any official GW sites.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Are you sure it's not a firewall or antivirus issue?
Have you tried turning off Windows Firewall?
It sure sounds like a firewall issue. BTW, if you are trying to connect through a corporate or educational network, they will sometimes block access to GW - sometimes because their system detects GW as a file sharing system.
