I wanted to finish the Tyrian Cartographer on my Ranger and downloaded TexMod + Cartograph made easy (or however it's called... The one from Guildwiki).
I started Texmod, then selected gw.exe and the Cartopack. But GW still looks normal...

Things i tried:

turned off avast
turned off spybot
started texmod in compatiblity mode. (win XP Service Pack 3)
started texmod as administrator
cursing
turn off my firewall

Both, GW and Texmod (+Mod) are on the same partition. My Netbook is running Win7 32Bit and DirectX11 is installed.

Pls help me...

you can try umod instead of texmod.

I remember when I first tried texmod--and had the same problems. I ultimately had to redownload a copy of it to get it to run (this was a bunch of years ago when there were other places to get it from as well).

also...you can have NO updates when it starts---if you see on the loading screen 'download x files' it wont run.
