Default Password won't reset.

Hi there,

A few days ago I couldn't log into my account anymore, it said my password was wrong. When I logged on on 1 of my other accounts I saw someone else playing on it. So I guess I got hacked.

Now is my question how do I reset my password? I tried a few things like the reset password option on the login screen, which didn't work and sent me to the NCsoft play website. Now I made an account there and they said I should add a GW serial account to upgrade my NCsoft play account to a game account. And then reset my password there.

The problem is it won't accept any of my GW serial keys. :/

So could anyone help me with this? Or tell me another way how to reset my password please?

Help would be appreciated, Thanks.

~Miki.

Try to send an an support ticket on the PlayNC support website. If you can just prove to them that you actually own the serial key somehow they might be able to help you.

Some time ago my password got "leaked" to a friend of a friend that I didnt trust very much. I tried to change my password but it would not allow me since I had used the account to shop in the ingame store. I got sent to the PLayNC support website, but I had forgotten my password there. Through a series of e-mails and digital photos I managed to prove to them that I owned the account I was claiming as mine. After that, it was easy to log in on my Master Account and change the password. I also had troubles at first to register the serial key as a Guild Wars key, they can help with that as well.

Note: Password reset should send a new password to the registred e-mail addres for that account. What happens when you enter the e-mail addres in the reset password field? It could be that they have changed all of your account information, and it would be very likely they are using it to scam people trying to sell the account, and that your belongings are in kingdom come now... sry
