Now I’ve been using this application for a while and have never had any problems until recently (a month ago and I still haven’t worked out the solution yet). Here’s my problem:

When I left click on the <left click button to select an application> button, the folder icon changes like it’s being clicked on (dots appear around the folder)….but nothing happens. I don't get the dialogue box opening that lets me select an application.

Now I’m using the copy downloaded from the official wiki link as it currently stands:

And simply extracting with WinRAR then double clicking on Texmod.exe to launch the application. I don’t think anything has chance in the way I run the program. I don’t think I’ve installed any conflicting applications, and I have uninstalled anything that I though may have conflicted with it. I’ve tried downloading another copy many many times. But the problem still occurs

Has any body had a similar problem? Or can anybody suggest a possible solution?

The only thing I can think of is perhaps there's some sort of OS restriction on where you installed it or it needs administrator level to run. Where is your Texmod installed? Mine is in a texmod folder under GW and it works fine. (D:\Program Files\Guild Wars\texmod\Texmod.exe)

Try reinstalling texmod, if its a bug in the texmod program it should fix it, also install it someplace simple to start (mine is on desktop, easy access), so that theres not much computer restrictions.
