Default Guildwars with dual monitors

So I just picked up an extra monitor today, and I've discovered an issue. When I maximize Guildwars I can't move my cursor to the other screen. Is there a solution to this?

yup, you cant go full screen on anything, so you have to play GW in a window, just make the window as big as the screen.

Infact as I type this I have GW on screen one and Guru on screen two, both in window form

I do the same, I have noticed sometimes my graphics artifact very badly and the only way to clear it up is to go full screen then back to windowed.. now this seems to occur when I'm running a video on monitor 2. (Not a gripe or complaint just an fyi I have run into this) I'm happy to deal with it the way it is ( I really should be paying attention to GW anyways )

Yup most games will lock your cursor to the one screen if they are full screen, applications that are windowed and maximized aren't a problem. there are exceptions to the full screen thing such as media players

I am not sure why you would have this problem. Not that I personally have Guild Wars running on two monitors, but I have a few friends that do. One of my friends has Guild Wars running on four monitors, honest. All are full screen.
If I remember right there was an article on how to do it on widescreengaming.com but I am not sure how my friend did it or what his equipment was.

I don't want GW on two monitors I can do that, I want guildwars maximized on one, and say Vent or a browser.

Sorry, I misunderstood what you wanted to do. Good luck.

Windowed mode actually works pretty good in GW. A lot better that other games actually where if you want a windowed game, you'll have to go to a smaller resolution and be stuck with it. I haven't seen many games that support resizing on the go...

On other hand, if you're really sloppy with mouse, you can sometimes resize the game while in a middle of a match and lose some precious seconds. (maybe there's a way to disable it, hm)

And yeah, dual screens rocks.

I just have my guildwars running permanently in windowed mode. On the secondary screen I have mIRC/Vent/whatever. I never have any problems with it, just resize the GW window to fit your screen.
