Unhappy Problem with GW crashing my PC

I´ve been plazing gw for like 7 months now and never had an problem till earlier this weekend. The game has started to crash my whole PC it just causes the Computer to freeze and i have to restart it by pulling out the power. So i thought well ill just have to do something about this and reinstalled my whole Windows and now when im done i start GW (i didnt transfer the .dat file or anything) and it crashes befor i even can type in my e-mail and now i have NO idea what to do :S

Post your computer's specs.

Also when is the last time you dusted out your computer?

Do you have the right drivers installed?

Does this happen with any other games?

Are your parts overheating?

I'll try and think of more things in the meantime.

You probably where effected by one of these bugs that happened right after the 13th update.

Ty very much for the replies, ill check out the thing with the updates but i think its my graphicscard thats has been overheated by Far Cry 2 :S becouse it has started crashing while not playing too. So ill just buy a new graphics card

before you invest in a new and pricy card, make sure that your PSU is capable of handling it, and clean your case out really well, check that your fans are cooling it down and that there is good air flow... very important if you have been overheating.
