Hello. I had a character name, and I deleted that character. My friend then created that character name, and he too deleted it. Now when I try to remake the name, it says the name is already in use and I get an 029 error. Additionally, when I add that name to my friends list, it says "that character is already added to your friends list as "(friend name)"

I never had a problem before with instantly deleting a character name and recreating it.

Is there a time limit now before I can recreate a character name?

1 hour after he deletes it it becomes available to anyone else.

I have been trying to create the character name for the last 16 hours though. I thought maybe they changed it to 24 hours...

Are you sure he deleted it?

I have no proof other than his word. I have no reason not to believe him.

With that said, all of the evidence seems to suggest he hasn't deleted it
