Default Problem with running Guild Wars

Well I have had this new computer for a while and it has not had any problems until recently (today). The problem is when I try to open up Guild wars . I try opening it up and then I get a Guild wars loading screen which instantly shoots to 100%. Everything is normal right now until it tries to get me to the Guild wars log in screen. It black screens and then returns me to the desktop after it loads every single time. I have tried restarting/re-installing/etc/etc.

Btw, I have Windows Vista, 4gb of RAM and NVIDIA 8900 (Or something pretty new... I forgot the exact one but it works damn good.)

Thanks for the help :P

Sounds like an issue with your computer kicking over to the resolution guild wars needs to run.

I'd try checking your graphics drivers (rollback or update them) and see if that fixes it.

Sorry for this dumb question but how would I go on about doing that? :P

Easiest way is to go to NVIDIA's website. They have an automatic 'find your card and update drivers' button that will identify what card you have and if there are new drivers. Otherwise you can find you card in your Control Panel->System->Hardware Tab->Device Manager. Select your graphics card from that list and go to properties-> rollback driver.

If that's unclear just do a google search for how to roll back your graphics driver.

You could also run HWiNFO32 and then go to nVidia's site and manually find the drivers... their site is actually pretty user friendly for drivers.
