I have the exact same problem. I can't play any PvP because of this. Reinstalling the game didn't help, disabling firewall didn't help... IP, reboots everything... is something screwed with Europe servers?

I've been experiencing the same problem for months. I can play on american servers but when I switch to european ones, I get massive lag spikes which come and go like every 10 secons.

Pertty much an ISP problem.I take look at guildwars diagnosis log.Anytime that game try connecto server with IP 206.xxx.xxx.xxx (Euro server ?) It's seem to get a time out.

Every firend of mine in Thailand do have the same problem.

Only solution I can tell now that if you want to PvP pick the time that American playing GW.

Seems like i'm having this problem since a few days. Problem is that i can't get into the game to change my characters to american districts

Time to contact support(ISP & NCsoft) to see if there's anyway to fix this.

I have been having a similar issue too.

I can login to my account perfectly fine every time but I cannot always login to my characters.

I have 10 characters, 8 of which are in the guild hall, 1 is in random arena's and the last is in great temple of balthazar.

Since Friday I haven't been able to connect to any of my characters in the guild hall, or travel on either of my other 2 to the guild hall.

I can't always login to my 2 characters who are not in the GH but when I can login, I can quite happily travel to other outposts, and I even started a mission without any connection issues or lag.

I bought character slot #10 yesterday just to see if I could create a new character without any connection issues and I could. I created him, kitted him out and even played some random arena's but now cannot login to him.

It seems to be a routing issue since I can trace route the authentication servers perfectly fine, but cannot trace route the IPs of the GH and some others that display when I fail to login.

When I do fail to login, I sometimes get a 007 error and sometimes get no error at all but just sit at the Connecting screen showing 0% which doesnt change, error or timeout even if I leave it open for 10 minutes.

I started a question with NCSoft support on Friday and was quite pleased with the responses until Saturday morning when the rep called me by the wrong name and said he had escalated my issue to a senior rep.

Now Im getting quite pissed off since I haven't been able to play GW since lat week as 8 of my char's are in my GH which I can't connect to, I'm not much of a PvPer and I'm struggling to even connect to the one character that has been kind of working.

I haven't changed any hardware or software in the last few weeks nor have I previously had any connection issues with GW or in general so I'm quite confused too.

Any ideas?
