I am now using safe mode. I was in Ruins of Morah, trying to find a party, when my game froze. The music was still going on. I couldn't move anything but the music was still playing. So I restarted. The computer booted and after the login screen there was a flag, not a Singapore or Malaysia flag, but a Windows XP flag. Then I got a graphic problem. Restarted again, but still got the same problem, just with a different image. Then I reinstalled my drivers and Direct X. Now the loading screen with the Windows XP flag froze and there was an error, with a blue screen (of death).

System:
intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.80GHz
nvidia Geforce 8500 GT
2.00GM of RAM

Fix'd, kinda.

Anywho, can you explain the graphics errors? Was it like random lines going across your screen (Either vertically or horizontally), or was there random blocks of colors?
Was it just that your colors were off (I.E. everything had a blue/yellowish tinge)?

I'll also reiterate a want for the error code that was displayed. It should look something like
0x00000XX, if I remember correctly.

Meh, I know.. I just wanted to make his post more comprehensive and easier to read, so people who know computers can find a solution.

I had the exact same problem yesterday. Well, sort of. I was in Ruins of Morah trying to sort out a build for my hero and suddenly everything froze. The music was still working and I could see other people moving in the game. However none of the interface would work. I saw the cursor moving but i could not click anything or close anything. No keyboard shortcuts would work either.

Since i am running GW in Crossover on my macbook pro i could not exit the game and had to force shut down. Everything work's now but it seems odd that we both had something like that happen in the same outpost on the same day.
