Default Graphic driver failure?

I am getting this message when I try to load up Gadds Encampment. I play guildwars just fine everywhere else with no problems ever. But I took my warrior into gadds encampment to do the Zquest and died outside, when it went to load up, it got to 100% and froze, and this message popped up.

I logged back in with my other characters and it works just fine, But I can't get back on my warrior to even get him out of that town. The massive amount of smoke coming off the fire is whats causing this!

My pc is a 5 year old dell with a Intel(R)82865G Graphic controller. Its a dell so its onboard. I don't need to reinstall the drivers because it works just fine everywhere else. How can I rescue my character from that town?

Can someone at Anet move my warrior to another town? Am I screwed until I get a new pc in 2+ years? Can Anet patch the game and remove some of the smoke in that town so I can actually play?

Thanks for any and all replies.

[edit] Well I restarted my pc, left all my task manager processes on and logged in. I was able to get on my character and go out of town. So the problem is not permanent. I have to go into my task manager and turn off a lot of processes in order to speed up the game cause I only got 512 ram on this pc. So I believe that and the smoke has something to do with it.

Atleast I can still play my character (WHOO!) but I really wish Anet would decrease the amount of smoke coming off that campfire. We get it already! Its smokey, now cut me some slack!

yes, i always turn off like 10processes also otherwise it would be even worse(7year old pc with 2.0ghz pentium IV processor/ 512mb ram pc133mhz, ati radeon 9550 256mb---> makes me have that issue sometimes also, or i need to wait like 40seconds before loading in a zone.)

moriz i'm having the same problem as the OP, but I wasn't able to use the guide you provided because the link for the 3danalzyer didn't lead me to the location where I can download it. I have the same intel 82865g graphics driver failure at rata's sum and certain dungeons. Can you maybe give me a link to where I can download a 3danalyzer that works for me so i can try to fix this problem?

Ok I was able to get the 3d analyzer program, but now I'm unable to actually run GW through it. Any advice?

It works fine for everything else and every other part of gw. Only those areas connected to Gadds encampment give me trouble and buying a new graphic card for this dell is, impossible. I can't spare the money for a hobby, especially when its such a small problem that only happens in 2 areas.

Simply not worth it.

Nope, I barely understood any of the tecno babble in the post and it didn't meantion my specific video card so I didn't know if it would work or not. I'm not big into pc's and don't know much at all. I turn it on and play my games.

My knowledge of pc operations and all that is very limited due to honestly having no interest in pc's at all outside of gaming and using wordpad/rich text docs for writing.

When I have time I may look into it further, because not being able to play even two areas in the game is frustrating. But I'd need to know if it would work with my graphic card. I don't want to screw my pc up on accident.
