Curse

I just uninstalled WoW because of some problems that I was having with it, and decided to try out GW. I installed it just fine and with no problems, but when I tried to play, my screen went completely black. I had to ctrl+alt+delete to get my desktop back, and I saw an error message telling me to update my driver and install the latest version of DirectX. So, I did. I tried logging on several times more, but I kept getting the black screen. The playing screen would come up, and I could see the cursor, but a lot of times I would just see my desktop through the screen. Once, it even restarted my computer. I uninstalled it, thinking there may have been an error in the game somewhere, and reinstalled it - it's still doing this to me.

Can someone help? I'm really eager to play now that I've read up on some of the stuff. Thank you. :]

Can you elaborate more on your system specs?

WoW and GW have different system requirements to play the game.
GW needing the higher requirements. What it sounds like to me is your
gfx card is the problem. updating drivers *may* solve the problem, but it may
be your gfx card isnt able to render GW.
