Default Texmod Weirdness

Let me start by apologizing in advance if this isn't the correct forum for this topic.

Basically, I have texmod running with "Glazed Graphite", "Clearskills", "50% Mark", and "Cartography Made Easy". Everything works alright in that the mods do what they say they do. The issue is that the mods also do MORE than that...in an undesirable way. People have GUI elements as shadows, the whole screen gets covered with a translucent version of the minimap, etc. It can be fixed by either resizing or maximizing and minimizing repeatedly (sometimes many times) but is still quite irritating. Here is an example:

Does anyone else have this problem or any idea how to fix it? Thanks in advance!

Regards,
mjuad

it's a glitch with texmod, and i don't think there are anyways to fix that, other than to minimise, maximise, change resolution, or any other way that makes the game re-render the game graphics

i play in windowed mode so when that happens to me i just drag the window size a bit

turn your shadow setting down to get rid of that.

In TexMod, the first mod in the list(package mode) takes precedence over any other mod following it. So if two mods change the same texture, the first one in the list will override any mods below it on the list.

It's just a minor glitch that we all get when using texmod. I recommend minimizing and maximizing until it is gone, may take a few times.

I believe that has something to with the order of the mods you have setup to run in texmod. If you run say Glazed UI first THEN put 50% mark under it the Glazed will replace your UI textures than 50% will come in and replace that small texture that Glazed did.

Thanks for the advice everyone....I have tried everything mentioned here, tried using less mods, different order and I do play in windowed mode. The thing that irks me is the fact that the software does it at all. You shouldn't HAVE TO resize the window or minimize/maximize...this is something the software author should be taking care of. If Texmod were open source, I'd fix it myself. Well, I suppose people don't really take pride in their code anymore so this is something I guess I'll just have to deal with or not use it but goddamn is it annoying!

You should realize that TexMod is beta software, and it was never completed. It was also created for an entirely different game, not for Guild Wars.

Ah...I was aware that it was beta software but not that it was designed for a different game. I guess that explains a bit =)
