Default Graphics Driver Failure

Every time i try to go on a certain character in Guild wars once it hits 100% loaded it minimizes than the screen is black and a pop up comes up saying

"Guild Wars has come up with an unrecoverable graphics driver error and must terminate. Clicking URL below will open a web page with more information."

i click the url and i am not afraid to admit it my little knowledge on these problems doesnt realy do much for this. i do not know what to do. i was tiold many things on how to fix it but some are just things i do not agree with. i was told i need a knew graphics card, i was told to update which i tried to do but i dont know what to update(any criticism please keep it to a low), than the one i hope isnt true is that that one character which was my first and favorite character might be the caught between loading and something else and will not work so the only thing to do is delete.

This problem is only happening on one character which is in Rata Sum in EOTN. This all happened probebly a week or 2 after i downloaded and updated for Perfect World International. But its been a few months since i restarted my entire computer to factory settings and the character still wont work. Any help would be appreciated i say again im not that bright on computer stuff so if its not much to ask when explaining please try to be simple im not afraid to say im stupid when it comes to this stuff.

Rata Sum is the noob filter for GPUs - if your graphics are going to fail, it's going to be in Rata Sum.

Are you running with Intel integrated graphics, by any chance?

To give us information on your system follow this:

Press Start in Windows and point to Run (honestly not sure if there is run or not in vista) if Windows XP press run if Vista I guess type it in the search bar in the startmenu. What you want to type is "dxdiag" (without the quotes) and this will open up the Direct-X Diagnostic's Tool.

There are many tabs... System and Graphics are of the many. We would like to know your System Specs as well as graphics specs.

CPU (Processor)
RAM (memory)
Graphics Card Model/Type and Manufacturer
Graphics RAM (graphics memory)

Those are really the major pieces of running guildwars though the problem most likely lies in your graphics card about 99% and 1% possibility it is faulty memory or not enough but more likely graphics card or the drivers of it.

ok umm as i said before im computer stupid but i think i got this

processor: pentium(R) dual-core CPU E5200 @2.50GHz (2CPUs),~2.5GHz
Memory: 3318MB RAM

now idk if this is the graphics model type or what ever since it only says device.
Manufacturer: Intel Corporation
Chip type: Intel(R) GMA 3100

hope this is it and for a note not that i dont trust yous but ill have to be keeping everything on photo and print since the last time i did this was before i restarted everything and i asked Perfect World forums and the admin asked me this info and not saying they did anything but my computer was hacked and messed up i beleive 2 days after. Now its just a theory about being hacked but taking into consideration i gave alot of my comp info away its possible. Yet again i trust u guys completley just taking cautious steps incase someone else tries to.

"best stuff"? wow, he really lied through his teeth there... or he just had no idea what he was talking about.

anyways, here's the solution:
http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10323347

be warned though, some people have reported that it doesn't work with vista. however, it doesn't hurt to try.

The GMA3100 is just another card in the anti-guildwars card line, lol. Good luck with 3D analyse.

on your keyboard, there's a button called "print screen". press it, then open Paint, and then paste. crop your image down to size, then upload it to imageshack.us, and then paste the link here.

edit: just tried it on windows 7 (which is very similar to vista), and it ran perfectly.
