Default relocate my template folders?

I play from one of my 3 computers (home, work and laptop) and I would like to share the character templates between all 3.
I already use DropBox to maintain a folder in sync between multiple computers, so if I could teach GW to look for templates in that folder instead of the defualt faolder, I'd be golden!

Is there any way to tell GW to look for templates somewhere else?

(windows XP if it matters)

The easiest thing to do that I know of, is copy the folder from your main guild wars.
Put it on a thumb drive or zip it and upload it to a file hosting website. Then simply paste it into the other copies of guild wars that you have.

In a typical installation the file is located at C:\Program Files\Guild Wars\Templates

I would like to automatically "sync" the folders, so that whenever I save a new template, it's available on all other computers

Well, with that, you have two options: Write/obtain a program that updates your templates on a server whenever they're changed, or add a short cut to the folder in question if you're in a network.

I'll help you through doing this whichever seems more suited to your style.

Well, I found this on the dropbox wiki, which is exactly what I needed:

basically create a junction/symlink (similar to a shortcut, but for a folder) pointing to the folder inside dropbox

works like a charm!
