Default Frames Per Second

Sometimes my gw starts moving extremely slow, when it happens my screen frame can change once in about 10 seconds , usuely it doesn't last long , but when it does my pc simply gets stuck. If I put my mouse on the little circle on (shows Ping and FPS) I see that my FPS is 1.
What is the problem? is it my computer? because I don't think it's my internet.

I have this same problem so I was wondering if I could also post my specs here to get help since it didn't make much sense to make another thread about the exact same thing. Might as well help 2 ppl in 1 thread.

It's your computer having troubles. Don't say his graphics card isn't good enough before he posts specs, he obviously played before he had this problem.

Could be a number of things, but we do need those PC specs to help you a little bit more.

It does sound like something is running really hard in the background making the cpu stick at 100% for a little bit and back down, or it's GW trying to load the rest of the map and you don't have enough memory to do it.

Sorry for the late response, forgot to check the thread, I'm not sure which information exactly you need, here's what I find, tell me if you need any other info to help me with this problem:
Processor: Intel Pentium 4 CPU 1.70 GHz.
Memory:512 MB RAM
DirectX: 9.0

Video Card (think this it): NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 4000
Memory:128MB
