Default Black screen

I was playing around with the resolution on Guild wars and suddenly my computer went black and guild wars minimized and i saw my desktop. I tried to reopen guildwars and it opens to a black screen. Waits about 3 seconds and then minimizes. Please help! I have tried everything

this happened to me before. closing the game and re-opening fixed it for me.

Run the game with the -windowed command line.

You can do this from the start menu run command or in a new short cut you can make on the desktop out of your regular gw shortcut.

For example, make it look like this:

And start GW up, then you can choose the right resoultion your monitor actually supports for going back into fullscreen. To be safe with a 4:3 size monitor try 1024x768, if you have a 16:10 widescreen start with 1280x768.
