Default What occured?

I looked at the errors and I forget which one I got.

I was playing the game without a hitch, then I suddenly got booted to the loading screen for the outpost I was in (beacons) and had to type my pass-word again, the first time I messed it up, the second time it went through but booted me as soon as the area loading reached 100% (this took 2 sec) then I typed it again and it went through.

I was not lagging and my indicator was green.

I'm not sure if someone tried to log in to me, if they did, would I have been booted to the full log-in screen or just what happened to me.

I'm hoping this is just my router being garbage as usual but, when it does its thing, usually I have to re-plug its power cord.

not sure what actually happened, but when someone else logs in to your account, you do get booted from the game.

thanks for that. I needed some technical re-assurance. It was probably either my ISP or router, cogeco + cheap router=fail. Sometimes the internet is down for hours, sometimes its faster than expected, usually its just slow, though usually (about once a week) the router just fails and has to be re-plugged in.

I kept getting that right before the whole Dhuum thing was implemented. Was in a group with some guildies in the UW and every time I opened my friends list I'd see the reconnect button there and a totally random character I'm not on showing as me in the guild roster.

I think its a lag issue as a few times ive had it.
With lag i believe if you lose sync with the server ( usually coz of lag ) it can hang then suddenly it logs you out or gets to chr select screen and having to relog there.
Yesterday i was fine in my GH but all of a sudden no text was coming up and tho for a few secs i could move then it all froze and a few secs after it went back to chr screen with relog .
There seems to be a few lag issues again with gw - specially when ive loaded up and entered an outpost and straight away i get lagspikes of around 2k then it settles down to a nice 200 and stabilises.

A good way to check things if for eg your main chr has probs loading a place - switch chrs to one with access to same place. If you get same problem it may be a problem with the datfile - if the chr accesses the place then switch bk and retry as that usually fixes it ( from my own exp but i may just be lucky )
.
