Default No serial number.

So, I bought Guild Wars Trilogy and after installing it I found out it had no serial number. I was wondering what I could do to fix this with out having to spend another 50 bucks.
I'm completely new to this game, so I could just be making a stupid newbie mistake. But I would still appreciate some help.

Umm. There should be a little piece of paper with it. Or it may be on the CD case. Idk if the trilogy is different from the originals. Prophesies for me had a scratch card on the inside of the CD case. But factions had a white piece of paper. I think NF was also just a piece of paper and then EotN was a piece of cardboard (looking like a shield) that you just peeled the edges off and then unfolded it and it was rite there. My best bet would be to look at every piece of paper and look front back, side to side and then put the checked pieces in 1 pile and the unchecked in another until you find it. If you still cant find it go to the box. Look inside. If theres no more paper inside it may be on the box. If its not in the box anywhere check the CD cases. (Sry if this is confusing its in no order and has no organization). But I really hope this helps

If you dont know the abbreviations:
EotN= Eye of the north
NF=Nightfall
Proph=Prophesies

And ya. If you did not buy the game from a legit retail store you might be screwed... If you bought it from a retail store and it was "Used" Take it back and try and find the section on the box were it says "This product is not subject to re-sale". I'm 75% sure that i read the box one day and saw that on there.

I bought it at GameStop. I've never had a problem with there stuff before but there is also a first time.
I checked everything and there is nothing, no scratch off spot, small card, nothing. Figures just my luck for trying a new game.
Thanks for the help though. Much appreciated.

Ebay or gamestop or not, any of which can still bone you over. I bought NF from gamestop and the guy put factions stuff in it, all losely, I went back in and he replaced everything, the stuff isn't shipped sealed from the factory when shipped to gamestop apparently.

It was a mistake at GS most likely, go in and explain it to them and you will probably be able to get an exchange.

I bought Factions at Target and it didn't have the CD key.

I returned it and explained to them that it was missing the CD key. They simply traded me for a new copy of which was fine.

I'd just take it back to them and request a new one.
